We are humbled to present the largest oral archive of testimony from Gaza produced since the genocide began, a collective memorial to the journalists who gave their lives to tell their people’s stories. LISTEN: https://t.co/qTS04mJsON
⚠️The Egyptian Relief Committee in Gaza had been organizing public screenings of World Cup matches for displaced families across the Strip. About an hour before today’s Egypt-Argentina match, Israel killed the committee’s public relations director in a strike on his vehicle. Two others, including a child, were also killed.
Hossam Hassan, Egypt’s head coach, carried the Palestinian flag after Egypt advanced to the Round of 16 of the World Cup.
He said, “I dedicate this victory to the Egyptian and Palestinian people.”

@aftabamon FWIW: HAPPY HOLIDAYS did not win the Ophir Awards, nor did Copti accept the Israel Film Fund in spite of the film being shot in Haifa. It is a co-production of Palestine, Germany, France, Italy, & Qatar, and would not be boycottable as claimed.
Gaspar Noé explains the reason he used Cocaine while filming "Irreversible" (2002):
"Most of the movie, I was doing the camera, it was a handheld camera. And I’m not proud of this but — I’m not a cokehead, I get allergic — but there were some members of the crew that were doing coke and when the camera has to go up the stairs, down the stairs and turn around, at a point, my arms were hurting and my friends on the set were giving me coke. And you feel strong and you feel like a superhero, you run up the stairs and turn the camera. I was really happy that helped me achieve the scene.
But after two days of shooting up the stairs and down the stairs and turning the camera, I’m not a strong man at all but the camera was very heavy. I had done such a muscular effort that the moment this spell of cocaine was over, the pain started and I could not even raise a glass of vodka.[laughs]"

P.S: On this day, 24 years ago, "Irreversible" (2002) was released in France & India.
Don't look now but Palme d'Or winner John Travolta quietly outscoring more than 60% of the Cannes Competition on the @heyMOIREE grid including Mungiu, Harari, Farhadi & tied with perceived Palme frontrunner Zvyagintsev 👀🛩️ https://t.co/xkEhm4Omwv
While Trump is threatening to commit genocide against Iranians, there has not been a single nationwide protest in America against this war. Whatever Trump and the American ruling classes do it is made possible by a people that silently goes along with it.
This is a heinous crime by Israel. An extension of its serial killer campaign, hunting and murdering journalists in Gaza. Shame on all Western journalists and news outlets who refuse to condemn these crimes unequivocally.
