Delivering the Connected Simulation Network across to the NHS. Creator of the Extended Reality Lab ERL, Midlands Imaging Training Academy MITA and XRNET
Quoted as the ‘future of simulation in the NHS’ the ERL makes a huge impact on education and patience outcome. A (inter)nationally connected environment to promote collaboration and excellence and an example of tech making a difference. @nhsx @HEE_TEL @RCollEM#meded
Today we start a new build. Our biggest to date and a complete MDT education/simulation centre construction with Extended Reality Lab, Ward, debrief and meeting rooms. All built and managed by us as principal designer and contractor. @NHSHEE_SWest@NHSEngland@NHSHEE_LDN@NHSHEE_NWest@NHSHEE_SEast
The virtual headboard facilitates the use of gases within your immersive scene. Seen here as part of the Extended Reality Lab and powered by the Connected Simulation Network #CSN it provides an integrated call button which works within the ERL audio system, remotely controlled O2 and Air flows to simulate loss of gases and an integrated camera from a patient POV. The headboard is powered by XRNET and provides spares socket outlets and network ports for expansion.
We have facilities around the country now but non in Fenland so please spread the word. Anyone refurbishing education spaces we now offer a complete turnkey solution, construction/refurb and technology and connection to a national platform where people can simulate together. Thanks Ken
We are please to announce that Sim4med have been commissioned by West Midlands Endoscopy academy to provide our remote training systems and mobile XRNET to deliver distributed collaborative training within the midlands area. This cutting edge program will utilise our HSJ award winning workforce transformation streaming solutions as part of our high speed education network platform. @NHSEngland@NHSDigital@NHSHEE_Midlands@NHSWTE_NEY@NHSEnglandLDN@NHSHEE_SWest@NHSE_TEL
@KenZeroHarm It’s close Ken. That time has taken us from a single site solution to a world leading national platform and we very much appreciate you helping to get the word out . The CSN - connected simulation network is growing and collaborative sim is helping improving patient safety.
Did you know we now provide mobile XRNET units to fit the back of an ambulance or helicopter to stream direct to extended reality Lab (ERL) or provide direct support to children’s transport services with realtime streaming from the air/road to the receiving hospital. @KIDSNTS@NHSWTE_NEY@Ldn_Ambulance@RCollEM
Running these sessions is one of the best parts of my job, great to see so much engagement from our new juniors. @88AimeeA@debbierowley72@IanTyrrell5 @TherapiesatUHNM @UHNM_Sim
The Extended Reality Lab is the perfect environment to develop and deliver neurodiverse training programs. It gives trainees and faculty the ability to harness and explore the diverse ways our brains are wired and give everyone the best possible training. #connectedSimulationNetwork #ERL #CSN #neurodiverse
We were thrilled to welcome external guests to our simulation suite at St George’s Hospital for the first time today! 🤗
A fantastic opportunity to showcase how we’re advancing training and patient care through innovative simulations 💭#medicaleducation
The connected simulation network #CSN has grown to be the world leading solution for real-time simulation between medical education staff and facilities. Born from cross industry concepts it’s an example of how we can help scale our medical training initiatives across the NHS and beyond. Simulation is a key enabler to our future staff training , well being and retention. Get in touch to be part of it.
This time was a senior session of our on-call SIM training programme - great peer discussion and sharing of each others' knowledge and skills! @TherapiesatUHNM @88AimeeA @UHNM_Sim @debbierowley72@IanTyrrell5@caitlin_physio
