🔓🫰 Other than the major difference between transaction fees and levels of security, it is also important to compare the levels of decentralization both blockchains offer.

🏦 Because of wealth concentration, entry barriers, and the governance power of wealthier token holders, a PoS consensus mechanism always has the potential to create a rich-get-richer economy if left unchecked.

🤝 By offering a PoS network, Solana moves its focus away from democratization of its blockchain. Its validators only archive 2-days-worth of the Solana ledger, accumulating over 2 terabytes of blockchain data per year.

🫂 On the other hand, decentralization is at the forefront of the Core Blockchain network and each of its nodes archives the entire network, which is only 7,43GB large at the present moment.
