@SHealthline Big thank you to our fantastic staff mobilising and supporting our expanded 24/7 mental healthline through this Easter weekend, ensuring urgent help and advice is provided to people needing help. Going the extra mile to do the right thing. @withoutstigma
"a strong woman is one who feels deeply and loves fiercely. Her tears flow as abundantly as her laughter. A strong woman is both soft and powerful, she is both practical and spiritual. A strong woman in her essence is a gift to the world".
Ladies don't forget this is you!
Thanks to everyone at Royal Sussex County Hospital @BSUH_NHS for outstanding care provided in delivery of my baby grandson this morning. Every single person we met was brilliant and gave my daughter and partner a fantastic positive experience. NHS staff are brilliant😍
@withoutstigma Saying farewell and thanks to our wonderful Deputy Director of Social Work, Marian Trendell with our Chief Nurse @AcosiaNyanin and Chief Operating Officer @simbutton . Not losing her completely thankfully...still offering us her expertise and support
Listening to Thought For the Day on radio 4 about the support networks of friends, families, neighbours, teachers and communities, that help young people in particular to be successful. Got me thinking who is in your 'village' and how do we strengthen the help they can provide?

A5 NHS teams should be inclusive and effective . Able to build on work of other teams and able to share expertise as well as learn from others. Include patients, and carers as equal partners and leaders. Be creative.
We don’t always take self-harm seriously but:
- 50% of those who die by suicide have previously self-harmed
- suicide is up 50-fold in 12m after going to A&E with self-harm
- 1 in 50 attending A&E with self-harm have died within a year
