“So many parents today don't allow their kids to change limits...They're worried about them failing instead of learning. You learn through the experience of failure and success." - Coach K

Love his passion for this game!
Very proud of this kid and the team he is a part of. FINS is a an amazing organization with a great message and great families. They lift each other up and are supportive. Bumped up to AAA halfway through. Nolan had a great season that wrapped up this weekend. Some clips below.
“He’s too small.”
“He’s too weak.”
“He’s too slow.”
“His reactions are too slow.”
“He’s not ready.”
Years later, that coach sees that same player who he turned away and looked down on and asks “What happened?” “That’s not the same kid I saw before!”
Puberty, reps, patience and opportunity…Coach, that’s what happened!! You were just so caught up and obsessed with who’s ready now that you couldn’t see what was standing before you looking for someone to help them. Remember, Coach equals teacher.

"I never yelled at my players much.
That would have been artificial stimulation, which doesn’t last very long.
I think it’s like love and passion.
Passion won’t last as long as love.
When you are dependent on passion, you need more and more of it to make it work.
It’s the same with yelling."
— John Wooden
FINS Orange 13U are adapting well to the AAA level. They are fielding with more confidence and guys are stepping up. We are very proud of how Nolan is continuing to thrive with the increased competition and he is a leader in the dugout. See his clips and stats below 👇
What may have been an easy hit before is not and the pitching we are facing is more precise and faster. The boys are facing adversity well. Nolan had a good weekend and was a leader in the dugout. Here are his stats:
.375 BA
4 RBIs
56% QAB
FINS Orange 13U were bumped up to AAA a couple of weeks ago. This team has competed and earned that chance. Our first tourney after the bump was rough, however after adjusting the boys bounced back this weekend and competed. The competition level is rising. 👇
In his best game of the weekend he had 13 pts, 9 reb, and 9 assist. Yes, 9 assists! He was creating for others. He hit a big 3 to get us within one then hit 2 free throws to ice the game. He is doing hard things well. Proud of you A!
We are very proud Ayden! He played extremely well. He has grown both mentally and physically with his game. The game is slowing down and he is seeing it from another vantage point compared to most. He is becoming an ultimate playmaker. He averaged 12 PPG, 8 RPG, 7 APG Clips 👇
