Love country, blues & Americana, musically I should have been born in Appalachia. Exercise addict. LSE alumni. Bury FC supporter. Proudest dad on earth.
I find it kind of astonishing that people who were enraged about police officers being attacked at Manchester Airport went to Southampton last night to erm….attack police officers 🤔
@TheKro16 That performance of Mountain Time is definitely in my top 5 favourite music performances available on YouTube. Was lucky enough to see JB play a show near Manchester pre-Covid, he had Reese Wynans playing Hammond, incredible to think he was in Stevie Ray Vaughan’s band.
@liverbird17 They’re probably all wondering why they’ve got a misery-guts woman in leopard-print sat between them. My 15 year old son’s on a school trip next week flying Ryanair, with any luck they’ll be on same flight. But you needn’t worry, they’re all extremely polite & respectful.
Instant highlight for me from @KipMooreMusic’s brilliant new album. I love that line, ‘I’m holding onto you holding onto me’, it kinda sums life up, the vulnerability & fragility of it all, and holding onto those close to you in life’s storms.
@TheKro16 It’s an interesting coincidence you’re doing a deep dive into this album now, I played a few songs from it to my 9 year old son for the first time yesterday. I’d forgotten how good it was, so innovative for the time, he particularly enjoyed ‘money.’ Apart from the expletive 😂
@_StephenKillen@Pilkingtonfc This is a shame, seemed a great club when Bury visited last year, really friendly and well-organised and they had some really promising young players, gave us a difficult game.
@bradluttrell Unless I’ve missed it, I haven’t seen this one mentioned, listened to it a few times yesterday and really enjoyed it. Going to listen to it again today.
@larssivertsen Amen, someone who finally agrees with me. Not enough depth perception with the now-favoured ‘straight on’ camera angle. Football is continually trying to fix stuff that was never broken.
@DireStraits77 Very difficult decision but it has to be the epic Telegraph Road, I just love the epic guitar solos in that song, especially the first one.
