My TOP 10 ALBUMS OF 2025
This is MY LIST of albums that speak to ME. It's based on how much I listened to the album & how much I enjoyed it. Like bourbon, your taste may vary. That's a good thing by the way. Like & listen to what moves YOU... always!
@SeanPBali I have always said, when Larkin is out 2nd line Center we will be winners & he'll explode. We never got the talent to drop him to 2C, but somebody will... dammit
I ran my mouth about AI music a couple years ago roughly and it blew up in my face and here I am talking about it again for the first time in ages. Support the independents my homies
Nearing Kentucky, but just let me say that driving through Cincinnati is a DISASTER... even when you plan to do it between morning & evening rush hour. Grrrrrrr...
Day One in the books. @Philbow55 Philip Bowen and @RachelBaiman did The Ark proud last night. Entertaining a small, but enthusiastic crowd.
Just left Michigan and are passing through Ohio on the way to Zanzabar in Louisville for tonight's @JohnnyMullenax show!
@GregEno Ted Williams & Ty Cobb, just to listen to them discuss hitting.
Al Kaline - calming presence so as to get the most out of the previously mentioned discussion.
Lem Barney - met him twice, incredibly interesting person in ways far beyond football.
Tom Harmon - UM & WW2 stories
Reminder: Jason Eady's new album will be released TOMORROW!!! Jason is a songwriter's songwriter. Can't wait to hear new music from this Mississippi born, Texas raised artist! @jasoneady
@Kristinartz What was Your Favorite Band When You Were 15?
1977 was a transitional year for me musically. Everything before seeing Elvis Costello on SNL and everything after. That appearance led to Ramones, Clash, Stiff Records (Nick Lowe), etc. Absolutely changed my life.

Welp, (that’s upper Midwest for time to leave) I tried my hardest but alas the body has its own rules. Looks like the mural I started last year- blew my shoulder out on- is gonna need to be finished by another artist. I tried painting for about 3 hours and I’m in the worst pain since I had surgery. There is nothing more devastating to an artist than not being able to make the creations you started, finish the journey with your hand. If anyone knows an artist who even slightly resembles my style and can finish this, I’d be forever grateful. I’m pretty emotionally destroyed after realizing for real my limitations. Not sure how to pivot, but if anyone knows someone who needs an incredibly successful visual artist who had an unexpected career destroying injury for non-art making let me know! Ugh.
I’m gonna listen to what is slowly becoming my favorite album this year- Keyland, Knuckle Sandwich, and pretend I’m not completely crushed and crying like a kid right now.
