@KernowQ@PolitlcsUK Could we not avoid the personal attacks, given that relentless personal attacks did for Starmer? Can we not try a different discourse? Just an idea.
People in Lebanon have been mourning the loss of turtle conservationist Mona Khalil. The 77-year-old marine ecologist was severely injured by an Israeli air strike on her home on June 4, and has since died from her wounds.
Ten years ago next week, the Labour MP Jo Cox was stabbed and killed by a white supremacist born in Scotland who hated her support for remaining in the European Union.
Farage and his far-right supporters didn’t give a damn.
When one of the most respected referees in world football is refused entry by the host nation, because they don't like his home country, the correct response of the other referees should be to boycott the tournament unless he is allowed to do his job. Sadly, that won't happen.
@CPhilpOfficial I’d love to know how Labour got at not 1 but 2 juries to achieve this. Can Mr. Philip enlighten us? Also can he remind us of the precise wording of the Tweet he calls “off colour”?

"What jury cases have in common is this: the jury is not a decorative flourish.
It is not a quaint relic.
It is the living democratic element in criminal justice.
A jury brings not legal expertise but something just as important — collective judgment, common sense, life experience, scepticism, mercy, independence and the ability to test the state’s case against the reality of human behaviour. "

Repost if you’d like to see the return of traditional British values.
Things like tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Politeness. A sense of fair play. Mutual respect. Humour and wit. Kindness and generosity. Fairness. Sportsmanship. Anti-fascism. Inclusivity.
@StevenMcinerney The odd thing is that occasionally one of them gets close to a truth - that the wealthy 1% are happy to keep everyone else poor. Unfortunately they are incapable of seeing why this is the case or what should be done
