I think as Zimbabwe, we don't celebrate our sports heroes and heroines enough to inspire the younger generations.

I hope Zimbabweans know that we have a 10 time Tennis Grand Slam winner in Cara Black.

In other countries, players who haven't won as much grand slams are cult heroes and they play a huge part in growing the sport in their countries.

During this Wimbledon Open season, I thought I should remind Zimbabweans that we have a 5 times Wimbledon Doubles Champion in Cara Black. That she did it in 2004, retained the championship in 2005 and also won it in 2007 is amazing.

I don't know where Cara is at the moment but I want to say shout out to you our Champ!
