If President Donald Trump's return to the White House brings an end to Meg Whitman's ambassadorial tenure in Nairobi, then we as Kenyans have something to celebrate. As recently as last week Ambassador Whitman refused to sign a statement by Western envoys condemning the abductions, disappearances and unlawful killings of young Kenyans exercising elementary fundamental right to peaceful protests.

Gen Z has given me hope that Kenya without TRIBALISM, CORRUPTION, NEPOTISM & CRONYISM is possible. A Kenya that values all her children over TRIBE, CREED, CLASS, GENDER & AGE. 2002 General Elections was Anti-Kalenjin Coalition though Kalenjin Presidential Candidate was Uhuru Kenyatta. Coalition under Mwai Kibaki won & Kalenjin expunged from the system.

2007 Elections were Anti-Kikuyu Coalition led by Raila Odinga. The elections were stolen , KPLC switched off lights across the country & Kibaki sworn into office in midnight darkness.

2013 Elections were Anti-Luo Coalition. In one brush, the Luo Nation was painted as existential enemy of Kenya. Coalition under Uhuru Kenyatta won.

2022 Elections was Anti-Raila Odinga Coalition. Raila was portrayed as an evil force against Christian Kenya. The Church was weaponized against Raila. He was caricatured as communing with witches!

Gen Z wanted to break all the above false narratives. Across the country, the youth spoke in English with local accent but same message: A New Kenya! But instead of letting Gen Z peacefully fix the country, Raila goes to default mode: enter into Government of “National Unity”!

Kenya Kwanza MPs were excited & giddy like kindergarten kids when they voted YES to the Finance Bill 2024. They high-fived each other & laughed at the Gen Z protestors seeing them as stupid! Then when the President refused to assent to the Bill & said it be “deleted”, the same MPs were excited & took a victory dance around the President. There has never been in our History a group of MPs as useless, clueless, corrupt & weak like our current KK MPs. But we can understand as most of them are either illiterate or wash-wash businessmen!

Hey everyone , yesterday just before the top of the hour I was joking around a bit with the team in the gallery.

I was pretending to count down as the director was counting me down from 10-0.. including the fingers to show the number. So from 10 fingers held up to one.

When we got to 1 I turned finger around as a joke and did not realise that this would be caught on camera.

It was a private joke with the team and I’m so sorry it went out on air! It was not my intention for this to happen and I’m sorry if I offended or upset anyone. I wasn’t ‘ flipping the bird’ at viewers or even a person really.

It was a silly joke that was meant for a small number of my mates. 🤦🏻‍♀️
