Dear Minister @BarbaraRwodzi
I am writing to urgently report the severe deterioration of the highway between Makuti and Karoi This stretch is now heavily cratered with deep potholes, posing a massive safety hazard.
While this impacts local commuters, it is severely damaging our tourism sector. Self-drive tourists traveling to nearby national parks are experiencing frequent vehicle damage, flat tires, and dangerous driving conditions. This not only puts lives at risk but also actively deters regional and international visitors, hurting the local hospitality industry.
We urgently request that a maintenance team be dispatched to patch and rehabilitate this critical tourism route before a major accident occurs.
Thank you for your prompt action on this matter.
@buster_goldie Most countries do it in foreign countries where they have their most citizens in, especially targeting FDI. U.K. doesn’t need to do it Zim.. although they host banquets once in while at the residence. Hopefully that makes sense.
@begottensun Bro it’s crazy…. We had a guy (white) do a perfect siting with a Y shaped stick.. where a geologist with electrical wires/monitors/maps failed.
@DzimbahweZw@ZimGvt_NDS1 Some of the diversions have now got trees growing in them, work needs to progress much faster. 5/6 to get to Chirundu is not good.
1. Leverage is key – The people making 10x more in a 9-5 aren’t working harder; they’ve figured out how to amplify their efforts.
2. Distraction kills progress – Your biggest enemy is scattered focus. Mastering your mind is non-negotiable.
3. Choose your mentors wisely – Never take advice from someone who hasn’t achieved what you’re striving for.
4. No one’s coming to rescue you – Owning your life means accepting that your problems are yours to solve.
5. Action beats theory – You don’t need endless books or courses; you need self-discipline and action.
6. Sales is life-changing – Unless you’re in a technical profession like medicine or engineering, mastering sales can transform your income in months.
7. People don’t care as much as you think – Stop worrying about what others think. Take risks. Create opportunities.
8. Collaboration > Competition – When you meet someone smarter, work with them instead of trying to outdo them.
9. Cut smoking – It adds nothing to your life but steals your focus and health.
10. Comfort is the silent killer – Overindulgence in comfort leads to stagnation and unhappiness.
11. Protect your privacy – Share only what’s necessary. Less talk, more action.
12. Alcohol isn’t worth it – Losing control of yourself isn’t cool. It’s a ticket to regret.
13. High standards aren’t negotiable – Don’t settle for what’s easy or available; aim for what’s extraordinary.
14. Family is what you build – Prioritize the family you create, not the one you’re born into.
15. Detach emotionally – Mastering the art of taking nothing personally is a superpower for your mental peace.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
