Watch this to see why you shouldn’t visit Hawaii in the near future. They don’t need our tourist dollars right now (or possibly ever). https://t.co/xsA5xvBkVa
As a thank you to the educators who continue to advocate for students' reading choice, I'm giving away 5 signed copies of THE CANYON'S EDGE for your classroom libraries, along with some signed postcards. RT/F to enter, and I'll select 5 winners by 6/2. Happy summer reading 📚🏜️💛
I just found a bunch of these Ask Me What I’m Reading buttons and stickers I made a couple years ago.
Want some?
RT this tweet and follow me and I’ll randomly select a few winners to split them up amongst. I’ll be heading to the post office tomorrow, so this ends at 12 am EST!
Texas teacher @malmartintx won January's raffle: 30 new Who Was... books. Teachers have a chance to score this @UnderpantsCapt & Dogman stack. Follow and RT!
Can you help BookSmiles get to 2,000 followers? We are a nonprofit that gives books to kids who need them most! #
@GlennonDoyle This is why I loved the book so much. Building on the theme that art is necessary for humanity is such a unique concept for a post-apocalyptic world and it shouldn't be.
Critical Race Theory is being weaponized to destroy books by POC, so our next generation won’t have windows and mirrors. It’s that simple. What’s it going to take to stop it? ALL OF US.
@NicholasFerroni Buy books and replace books for my class library, buy snacks, spend hours outside contract finding or creating engaging lessons because curriculum isn’t enough.
@MoniseLSeward We’re required to teach it in WA, at least at the elementary level. I teach in a very red district so we had a good discussion on whose voices were missing in the document. 😛
Just cleaning out my daughter's room because she's going off to college, and look what I found! That stinker stole one of my ARCs of ACROSS THE DESERT! I'd like to give it away, so RT/F if you want it, and I'll pick someone by Monday. Releases 10/12! Thx, everyone🛩️🏜️🧡
@Jess5th I'm so sorry this you've had to do that. I was hoping that it was just an accident. Your resources have meant so much over the last several months. I'm happy to help in whatever way I can.
@NJSimmondsbooks I loved this book so much. It took a bit to get into, but it ended up being one of my favorites so far this year. I keep wanting to talk to someone about it!
