@IvoryPass I’m Wyoming currently and am only recruiting players who have me in their top 10 interest. Does limit who you can go for obviously, but I’m really not a fan of just going after 3 & 4 star players with 0 offers. This way you need to really focus on your roster & develop players.

@PhillyBasement Showed great mental toughness as well after the failed 2 pointer against Toledo, the missed 4th down last week and the fumble earlier tonight. Can’t wait to see him continue to get better and better as the season goes on.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@Temple_FB Season well and truly back on track!

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@hemelfc Don’t look up his goal scoring record…

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@hemelfc “Tends to play the ball along the deck”. What have we signed him for then? Our tactics are hump it long and see what happens.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@tudorarmyfan @OffTheLineBlog I’ll give you Green. He has a bit about him. The rest though I don’t think have been impressive. Maybe L-K. Ultimately I think the issue has been recruiting mostly from leagues below. After losing what we lost we were crying out for experience.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@tudorarmyfan No room for sentiment unfortunately. We lost a lot over the summer but Birchy is way out of his depth. Nip it in the bud early I reckon.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@GarroddM @hemelfc Have a look on his page. He’s more bothered about Torquay losing. They’re in the same league ffs. Absolute waste of time.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@hemelfc Going to be a long season by the looks of it.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@hemelfc Head of Recruitment has done a cracking job this summer…

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@Temple_FB @UNISWAG If only you shipped to the UK 😭🦉

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@gamingtailgate I simmed to 2030 with XP sliders at 200 for every position except kickers and punters and had 39 players 90 above without a boost. Some team ratings dropped but then went up again over time. North Texas for example went as low as a 59 but within 2 seasons were up to 72.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@gamingtailgate Yep, so assuming starting now the CPU will still recruit a terrible class year 1, then they’ll have to dig themselves out of that hole Year 2 and onwards. Sensible thing is to wait. Thanks!

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@Blind_Tudor @hemelfc Yeah, excluding those obviously. I’m just referring to incomings. Things will look a lot different if we can bring back Achuba, Bateson and Vilhete. I think the starting 11 looks solid, but depth at the moment appears to be mainly young players from the lower levels.

[Phil @Simmo188821]

@hemelfc So that’s an 18% increase on match day tickets from £17 last season….if I’ve done my sums right. Not sure you can justify that even with the success of last season.
