@calvinrobinson What would you say to the free will God gives humans providing a basis for pluralism, in that he leaves space for us to reject him?
I think Jesus is the only way, absolutely; and he allows people to not choose him, and we should love our enemies, without compromising the truth
Always quite impressed, and a bit surprised, at how dignified the banished players are when they reveal whether they’re faithful/traitor.
Jonathan Ross played it the most, but everyone else says how great a time they’ve had, not how annoyed they must be to leave.
#TraitorsUK
This is more likely if Rachel loses the chance, because they’ll know for sure they have a traitor gone.
And so when James goes next, some will think it’s all sealed, some will want the extra reassurance of Jade gone too, but I think they’ll give Stephen the benefit of the doubt
FWIW, my #TraitorsUK final predictions. Whichever way the chance goes, the shield bearer is next to be banished.
The 4 then banish Jade, for long standing (though very flimsy) concerns.
The 3 vote to end the game there, and Stephen wins.
(1/2)
It’s all about timing, and after an awful start, I think the faithful will turn it round just in time.
Potentially it’s been easier for them this slow way, than trying to work out whether people have been recruited / shielded from murder etc.
Nick and Joe, bring it home!
*Celeb Traitors Final Prediction*
• It all depends on David, and which pair (Nick and Joe or Alan and Cat) can get him on board.
• Then it’s about those pairs + David agreeing the order they want to banish the others in, so they always have the numbers.
#CelebrityTraitors
Personally, I think Joe and Nick will
be savvier, and banish Alan (more evidence because of forgetting the shield and laughing), then Cat.
They could end it there, but I think they’ll banish David too, just to be sure, because there has been suspicion.

@BuryCouncil The missed bin collection form doesn’t accept submissions, even within the timeframe, as there is no submit button on the final page.
You’ve stopped collecting from the church and Vicarage on St Peter’s Road for some reason. How can I contact you to rectify?
Intrigued all the more now at the, presumably deliberate, leaking of Bishop Pete as a potential ABC.
Lining him up for now vacant London? Or an early sign for York, now that both Archbishops are of a similar church tradition and theology?
What do we have when we have the Spirit? We have everything. This is no exaggeration.
He's the sevenfold Spirit who works through the seven days of creation, and throughout the week of history.
He's the Gift from the Father and the Son, the Gift above all gifts, the Gift containing all other gifts. All the treasures of God, hidden away in the depths of God from before the foundation of the world, become ours through the Spirit of Pentecost.
At Pentecost, God gives us God Himself: What more can we ask? At Pentecost, we receive the seven Spirits of God: How can we possibly say enough about the Spirit?
"Christianity, despite the times when it was on the verge of extinction, has proved surprisingly resilient. Like the dead body of Jesus, whenever people thought they had finished it off and nailed it down, it has shown a surprising capacity to be reborn"

Alexander will try valiantly to convince them that he gave his coins to Frankie because he’s a faithful, but underlying suspicion and a desire to share 2 ways not 3 will win out.
Let’s see!
#TheTraitorsUK
My #TheTraitorsUK final prediction:
Frankie tells people about Charlotte.
Charlotte says she’s lying, and Frankie is the remaining Traitor.
Everyone else believes them both enough to banish them both.
Alexander has enough doubt to also be banished.
Jake and Leanne share the pot
@BuryCouncil@NationalHways Can someone change the traffic light set up at Woodfield’s retail park, Bury? The whole car park is at a standstill, moving about a cars length in 10/15 minutes as it stands
Can we agree that primary schools shouldn’t be used as polling stations?
Gov rightly hot on absence and persistent absence, especially with big increases post Covid - so why enforce closure for a day for many?
If there’s nowhere suitable nearby, put up something temporary
@alexdjfrost The irony of saying ‘let’s not wait to do theology’ and then making theological statements in support of his position 🤦
Every argument about this is theological. Of course we have to do theology. Bishops are supposed to be teachers of the faith - let’s do better than this
