In 2013, household benefit cap was introduced to limit max a family could receive in benefits.

In 2015, the Tories abandoned targets set by Labour to reduce child poverty.

In 2016, benefits were frozen for four years as public spending was cut again.

In 2017, Tory govt brought in two-child cap for tax credits & UC to remove income for three or more children.
