Britain is building HS2 at £150million–£200million per km.
Compare that to:
• China: £15m/km
• Japan: £40m/km
That’s not inflation.
That’s not geography.
We are paying up to 10x more for the same thing.
That’s a system that can’t deliver infrastructure efficiently.
Ed Miliband lecturing us on the climate while burning £800k on private jets and luxury suites in Brazil.
Champagne for the eco-elites, poverty for the British taxpayer. The sheer, unadulterated hypocrisy of the Net Zero cult on full display.
They don’t want to save the planet; they just want to control you.
@Villa_F1 Well said, good to hear some positivity! Also new/old signings still need to gel. Happy the window is shut, now need to play our way back in to form. Utv
@J_Tanswell@TheAthleticFC Yes, weird how I didn't feel excited to have him and Pau back in tbh. Felt Lindelof and Bizot have done very well. Emi doesn't seem the same since the summer. He has been massive for us but maybe the time is coming.... cue world beater Emi 🙏 utV
If Starmer is successful in banning @X in Britain, I will move forward with legislation that is currently being drafted to sanction not only Starmer, but Britain as a whole. This would mirror actions previously taken by the United States in response to foreign governments restricting the platform, including the dispute with Brazil in 2024–2025, which resulted in tariffs, visa revocations, and sanctions and consequences tied to free speech concerns against Brazilian officials over concerns related to censorship and free-speech violations.
Starmer should reconsider this course of action, or there will be consequences.
There are always technical bugs during the early phases of new technology, especially AI, and those issues are typically addressed quickly. X treats these matters seriously and acts promptly. Let’s be clear: this is not about technical compliance. This is a political war against @elonmusk and free speech—nothing more.
I’m not allowed to say it in Parliament, but I can here: today the Prime Minister lied and lied and lied again. And he did so to smear a man defending our veterans in court against the Labour government.
Labour have attacked everyone from farmers, to businesses, to veterans, so now they attack David Wolfson, a brilliant KC, to take the attention away from their terrible decisions.
I’m proud to have David in my team. He doesn’t deserve to have his name smeared by low-rent politicians trying to distract from their own failures.
What little integrity the Prime Minister held he surrendered with that shameful performance today.
Remember, the sectarian Muslim MPs - Shockat Adam, Ayoub Khan, Adnan Hussain, and Iqbal Mohamed were all jubilant when Maccabi Tel Aviv fans were banned.
Another reason why none of them should be MPs. They gaslit the public whilst West Midlands Police lied.
West Midlands Police capitulated to Islamists and then collaborated with them to cover it up.
They knew extremists were planning to attack Jews for going to a football match, and their response was to blame and remove Jewish people instead. They presented an inversion of reality and misled a Parliamentary Committee.
We have had enough of this in Britain.
The Chief Constable’s position is untenable.
The British Police serve the British public, not local sectarian interests.
@pritipatel Please stick to this Priti, we need our real conservatives back before labour destroy the country completely. Kemi is doing very well, I just hope behind the scenes things have changed.
