Today we remember PC Patrick Dunne, 44, of the MPS. He was murdered in 1993 as he investigated the sound of gunshots in a street.His killer laughed as he walked away.We unveiled our memorial in June 1996

Joined the Met Police 40 years ago today ! Left to pastures new 10 years ago. I was ( and still very much am ) proud to be a career MPS officer - it’s a bit of a crazy organisation but does amazing work and has incredible people - it gave me everything ! #proudofmps
