Interestingly, our second MG5, now on 82,000 miles, has saved approx 19t of CO2 when compared with an ICE equivalent. By the time the MG passes 150,000 miles that number will raise to over 50t of CO2 saved. The break even point was 15,554 miles. I’ve excluded times when we have used solar only to charge.

This website takes in to account that the MG5’s battery was manufactured in China. It also takes in to account the energy and gas required to refine fuel, hence the huge difference (always missed off WLTP reports 🤷🏻‍♀️)
