“It felt like Spiderman had just walked through the office,” Conservative @CharLeach24x tells how Rory Stewart climbed out of a 5th floor window (in his suit) , and walked along a narrow ledge to get into his office after finding himself locked out https://t.co/54sH1g1yAJ
Speculation that Boris Johnston might offer to ditch the UK backstop, but retain the NI backstop, to cut a deal with the EU. The DUP would go apoplectic, but he might offer a NI referendum on this to outflank them. Odd times.
It's fascinating to see how secure trustless Decentralized Derivatives Markets seemed impossible in 2017, and is totally functional now.
Congrats to @chainlink (@SergeyNazarov) for getting here.

Challenged on @GMB this morning - I’m not ashamed that Labour and Lib Dem voters are saying they would vote for me - that is something to celebrate and be proud of. The Common Ground is the place from which we win and unite...#RoryWalksOn

So, with all Q1 2019 interim GDP stats in (bar Canada), time to update G7 growth figures, esp. for slow leaners (yes, you, Giles of the FT). Change Q1 2019 on Q1 2018:
US - 3.2%
UK - 1.8%
Canada - 1.6% Q4
France - 1.2%
Japan - 0.8%
Germany - 0.7%
Italy - 0.1%
Theresa May looks like she's trying to tough it out.
1. @Steven_Swinford reportings she's refusing to see ministers tonight.
2. Tomorrow EU elex polling day mean broadcasters cannot report politics, scuppering momentum.
3. Then it's recess until June 4.

Very senior MP tells me the word from the Cabinet corridor in the HoC is that the PM will resign tonight, Andrea Leadsom is poised to resign to launch a leadership bid, others may also resign & David Lidington will take over as acting PM. Unconfirmed!
