@KieranMaguire Have you looked at whether 4.2bn is a good price for 20% of the commercial interests? Looks like a gross undervaluation to me by a factor of at least 4. Some people get very rich from this and it's not the MAs.
Good to see UEFA take a strong stand on this. The proposal is rotten. The governance and integrity of the game are not for sale. It says a lot that the proposal sells it so cheaply. It's a deal designd to enrich the buyers at the expense of all other stakeholders in the game.

Very few managers have ever won a trophy for Portsmouth FC.
Kenny Jackett will forever remain among that elite group, having given us all an unforgettable day at Wembley for the 2019 EFL Trophy final.
Today, we mourn his passing, and remember his legacy.
Thank you, Kenny.
I had the privilege of meeting Kenny several times when I was chair of the PST. He was always generous with his time, interesting to talk to and just thoroughly decent.
I’m saddened by his passing and thinking of his family. RIP
Portsmouth Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Kenny Jackett, who passed away yesterday at the age of 64.
Kenny will be missed by everyone at Pompey and throughout the football family. Our thoughts are with all his loved ones at this sad time.
I just contributed to help with an important surgery. Every bit counts. Please consider donating or sharing Ella's story. She deserves the chance to play again. Thank you. https://t.co/mVuivoFBAy
Man who led that lot up the road into administration tells fans why owners know best and the fans that have suffered the collapse of their clubs are unimportant.
This football regulator nonsense in Parliament sums up so much of what is wrong with our politics.
I’ve listened to these gnomes drone on about the game, when quite frankly they know absolutely sod all about it. Nothing. Yet here they are, confidently redesigning the sport like they’ve just stepped off the touchline at Wembley - most think offside is the name of some new mad gender identity.
Regardless of whether you like my politics or not, I do know a bit about football - I was a Premier League chairman for years. Established an incredibly successful academy, built the stadium and took Southampton to a cup final. Was I consulted in any meaningful way about this new regulator?
Of course not.
They’d rather listen to these career politicians who only venture outside of the M25 for stag dos and skiing holidays. Never worked in football. Never even had a real job.
But yes, great. Of course, they are qualified to meddle around in one of the few remaining success stories we have left. Let’s listen to them.
I’d rather have pigeons legislating. At least there’s a random chance they might get it right, rather than this lot.
Let’s keep the state as far away from football as possible. Just leave it alone. It works, exactly because the government has been kept away from it.
I despise Westminster so very much. Common sense is like kryptonite in that place.
Honestly, we are governed by arrogant, incompetent fools. It is a wildly dangerous combination.
I had the privilege of knowing Mike and working with him both during fan ownership and since.
He was a dedicated fan who was always motivated to do the best for the club.
RIP Mike.
Sad to see @EllaHumphrey_9 leave the club. It's been a privilege to be her player sponsor for the last few seasons. The joy she played with and the pride she had in playing for her hometown club was always great to see. Best of luck for the future.
On July 30th, Portsmouth announced Colby Bishop would be undergoing open heart surgery, with no return date set
Just over 3 months later, barely 10 minutes into his comeback, he scores a penalty to help Pompey win just their second game of the season 💙

@DanNeidle Isn't this much bigger than just farming? The cap applies to BPR as well as APR and so will it not capture the inheritance of all family businesses in all sectors?

@AndyhHolt @EFL@FA Some hilariously bad takes in their report. Apparently Morecambe are the 10th best run club in L2, with the 6th best score for finance. Who knew, eh. Talk about gaslighting what their fans are going through at the moment.
