Do you like #urbex? #Psychogeography? Check out this @Urbex_audio project I was lucky enough to be part of, in two historic Blackburn spaces and a ruined air force hospital at RAF Nocton in Lincs.
What was I doing with @Urbex_audio (@ModusArts) in abandoned buildings like Tony's Ballroom in Blackburn and the ruins of RAF Nocton near Lincoln? Join us to discuss music and movement but also #Psychogeography & #Urbex: https://t.co/wjHITMiCWl
It's only that time again in #Kent! The brilliant Faversham Literary Festival is back 😀 All sorts of big names! Oh and me, showing a self-made film about our trip to Ukraine as @byhandukraine. Pop down Sunday 11am for that, #books lovers.
@HenryNaylorUK Hello. I was v inspired by your Afghanistan piece.I thought I had emailed you already about whether you do consultancy work (eg DYCP) but now I can't find the email. Odd. I'll resend.
@DebsNewbold Hello! You are great and I have sent you an electronic mail about professional business. I think it is in your virtual postbox now. Thank you! 🤩
We’re thrilled to invite you to our Re(Grounding) exhibition at @N_B_Project !

If you're in Newcastle upon Tyne today and like art, there's only one place to be - in Shieldfield. Our friends in Ukraine towns and cities are still being attacked with missiles etc, even if it's not on the news.
Announcing our upcoming show (Re)Grounding with Alexandra Clod & @uskakovych who beautifully & poignantly dig deep into the shared industrial heritage of the North East and Ukraine.

If you can't make it to Edinburgh, @anarchistplayuk is a *wild* ride in London. Insane levels of physical comedy & wisecracking, yet it eviscerates the scandals and cover-up culture of the Metropolitan Police (et al). Dario Fo would be proud. #theatre
One of the absolute finest shows of the year, this is a masterclass of physical comedy and political point-making. I've seen it twice and could happily go back another half dozen times.
Gonna RT this because I thought REWIND by @EphemeralEns at Summerhall was just incredible. How they do that daily, I really don't know. I needed a sit down to process it afterwards. See it at #edfringe23. Just don't plan to do anything for a couple of hours afterwards...
The most powerful piece of art I can remember seeing in...? Laughed, shivered, felt sick - at one point just gaped. And at the end? Cried through the standing ovation. Powerful physical #theatre. Well done @EphemeralEns humans, you've made sthing amazing. #ForensicAnthropolgy
@EdwinFlay Also, in wake of the Metropolitan Police and other recent scandals, it asks Qs of our institutions. How do very bad things go on for years, even when some people know? Trust? Authority? Hierarchy? Patriarchy? Class?
This one-man play about Harold Shipman was absolutely gripping at Edinburgh Fringe. Played it for nuance, provoking Qs about chronic pain & quality of life v safeguards & ego of those who would play God. Still pondering this powerful #theatre, days later.
@SkyNews "Shall we get this backlog of applications that we let get built up sorted?"
"Nah! Let's do more preposterous schemes that inevitably go wrong. That'll keep the press and the punters preoccupied while we crack on with the wealth transfer."
