From memory this was something that was an add on during COVID times to cover disruption caused by that. Should note, have been paid £225 compensation for failings and delays in the handling of complaint./2

Hotel and flight back from Turin. Missed ferry crossing. Claim refused in its entirety as insurance only covered failure of public transport. /1

@afneil The number may well be wrong, 90-100k would reflect a level of fairness based on the current system and how two single earners benefit. The sentiment is correct, no idea why this wasn’t the policy all this years ago when a threshold was first introduced!🤷‍♂️
