I did NOT agree with the general pro-Ukrainian analysis that the Ukrainian military left the Kerch (Crimean) Bridge standing deliberately
Until last night π
I was wrong all along
I thought the Ukrainian army would destroy the bridge if they could
But what happened in Novorossiysk last night shows us Ukraine had the capability to destroy that bridge ANYTIME they want, for sure in the past month, if not earlier
The Russians could not mount ANY response for 5 hours of continuous drone attacks at Novorossiysk, which is near the bridge
Now the big question is:
Why the Ukrainian government want to leave the Kerch Bridge standing? Political reason? Military reason? π€π€·
Your input is appreciated π
You clearly donβt know how cheap to ship things across pacific π
Of course US factories have room to improve in cost cutting π
But shipping a model Y from Shanghai to Vancouver will cost $1200 or less. May be even under $1000 per car during quiet times
Semi loading from Texas to BC will cost half that, but ainβt free π
Please educate yourself on shipping cost π
Russians predicting that they will have no remaining fuel depots by autumn, and that a collapse at the front is coming due to the ongoing logistics and fuel crisis - eing that the army all runs on generators and vehicles reliant on diesel and gasoline.
He further cites that "farmers are freaking out right now" as farming dies with no fuel.
@hanaamurakami The first time visiting Japan I was in a guided tour, very helpful. I would have so lost without the guide
The second time we travelled on our own, it was great
@mrthomasbarnard@JayinKyiv@Euan_MacDonald 2 things
1. Move more supply in the dark, the chance to get through is slightly higher
2. Net on the main highway like the Ukrainian in Kherson. It will take months, and only on some sections. It will never work for every road, and not very effective either
A humiliating day for Putin, as things at the St Petersburg Economic Forum start off with a bang.
Despite Putin flying in all the American influencers, Ukraine just blew things up.
