Pleased to attend the @age_uk reception on Ending Long A&E Waits and Corridor Care.
No patient - especially no older person - should be left waiting hours in A&E or treated in a corridor. It was important to hear how our local services are performing and discuss the practical steps we can take to bring waits down and restore dignity to care.
I look forward to working with Age UK and colleagues across Parliament to push for a fully funded plan to end Corridor Care for good.
