@FoxNews Why bother - when all they have to do is slip $1m or so to the President’s PAC or one of his family’s businesses and they will get a full pardon
@littlerich007@MaggieAlphonsi@JulesPR_ The issue is not ‘someone’ not liking Maggie’s commentary; it is the fact that a member of council is saying that a woman cannot commentate on a men’s game
@narindertweets She’s not been ‘cleared’ of anything - police passed evidence to the Crown Office who decided not to bring charges; not the same as ‘clearing’ her by any stretch of the imagination; and she was party leader - her husband’s boss - who therefore failed in her duties of oversight
@Douglas4Sandra@theSNP Even though they have taken no steps to fix the massive governance failures which allowed him to steal from the party for years and years?
@TareanSmiley@Strandjunker But he isn’t doing any of them - he is just a massive grifter making money for him and his family, while the US economy struggles.
@RobR44133618@PeterWillsman Who are these people who ‘sold it’ to us? I’ve always understood how it actually works - and I started work nearly 50 years ago and have no recollection of anything being sold to me
@Jebadoo2 Well - on one level it is true; it is not the job of the First Minister to do anything in relation to party accounts; but since the same person who was First Minister was also leader of the party - the party leader persona absolutely had a responsibility to sign off accounts.
@rchieyes The issue here is that they lied about their background - not just a small ‘tweak’ to their life story but a complete falsification of their background. Once that lie is exposed then their whole back story is fair game.
@Catesby1924@ZiaYusufUK Um - it’s complicated; when built and first let to a tenant then yes - clearly subsidised. But thirty or forty years later it can be a harder argument to make. If someone is on housing benefit - in public sector or private rented, then yes clear subsidy.
