@bbctms It’s a fair point, and we do benefit from
players being in the IPL as 2019 showed. But there’s an issue with central contracts, either a clause is needed that reduces them when players are unavailable or massively increased and a restriction/ban on playing in comps that clash

They would be far better off sacking him and moving on with a clean slate. I think if they went on to get promotion it would be very creditable. They may achieve it under Tonda but it would still be so tainted.
