Andrej Karpathy just dropped a project scoring every job in America on how likely an AI will replace it from 0-10
> Scraped all 342 occupations from the Bureau of Labor
> Fed each one to an LLM with a detailed scoring rubric
> Built an interactive treemap where rectangle size = number of jobs and color = how exposed that job is to AI
The key signal in his scoring: if the work product is fundamentally digital and the job can be done entirely from a home office, exposure is inherently high.
The scale:
0-1: Roofers, janitors
4-5: Nurses, retail, physicians
8-9: Software devs, paralegals, data analysts
10: Medical transcriptionists
Average across all 342 occupations: 5.3/10.
The entire pipeline is open source. BLS scraping, LLM scoring, the visualization. All of it. Much respect for the sensei this is scary and awesome
My fellow Americans, tonight I stand before you to report that under my leadership, measles is back like never before. Some people are saying they’ve never seen measles like this.
They said measles was gone, folks. The experts, the so‑called experts, they said it was eliminated. But not on my watch. We brought it back, and we brought it back strong.
We had sleepy measles, failing measles. Now we have winning measles. Very powerful numbers, incredible numbers, record numbers, quite frankly.
They have known measles for many, many years; it’s not something new, believe me, but nobody has made measles respected again like we have.
Some people call it a problem. I call it a tremendous opportunity. The fake news won’t tell you this, but measles is hot again. Measles is respected again. We did that.
We tend to think of batteries as the ones in our phones. But the real shift is happening at grid scale.
Utility-scale “mega batteries” now have hundreds of millions of times the capacity of smartphone battery.
Costs down ~40% since 2024
Capacity in 2024 12x higher than in 2020
This state’s power prices are plummeting as it nears 100% renewables
South Australia is proving to the world that relying largely on wind and solar energy with battery back-up is incredibly cheap, with electricity prices tumbling by 30 percent in a year and sometimes going negative

A reminder: ICE vehicles waste a whopping 80% of energy in their fuel.
EVs are propelled by entirely different mechanisms. Energy enters the vehicle as electricity, which directly powers the drivetrain making it 3-4x more efficient.
Is wind turbine waste a real concern?
Yes, by one estimate, in 2050 the world will generate ~3 million tonnes of wind turbine waste per year.
But for perspective, the world currently landfills ~500 million tonnes of coal combustion residues (coal ash) every year.
Good morning with good news: Global battery storage passed the 100 GW level in 2025, reaching 104 GW/257 GWh!
Why?
Prices fell 31% in 2025 and are down 70% since 2022!
Global average price was $117/kWh but are as low as $63/kWh in China.

ERCOT battery storage is expanding from 15 GW (2025) to 37 GW by end of 2027
That's a 147% increase in just 2 years
This unlocks massive AI data center capacity while stabilizing the grid during peak demand
Battery storage is the infrastructure unlock
BREAKING: TIKTOK has been completely throttling most political posts since 24 hours ago, right after the deal closed where Trump allies took over the US portion of the platform.
Any post I make about Alex Pretti receives between 0 and 1000 views. I have over 125,000 followers and my typical video will get between 20,000 and 5 million views.
I can confirm that other large creators, especially democratic-leaning, have had the same issue. This includes Dean Withers and Harry Sisson.
Big moment for Europe: in December, fully electric cars outsold petrol-only cars in the EU for the first time.
This shows that clear, consistent policy works. Which is exactly why backtracking now would be a mistake.
The 🇩🇪 German energy company LEAG has now announced that it will phase out the lignite coal mine at the Welzow-Süd opencast three years earlier than planned, i.e. in 2030.
The reason: renewable energies have now been expanded to such an extent that coal mining is simply no longer economically viable. Coal can no longer compete with the low prices of renewable energies.
Renewable energies are unbeatable in terms of cost and benefit.
Illinois: $1 billion in battery investment will save consumers $13 billion in capacity costs.
This is what @JigarShahDC and I have been talking about the past years. As capacity costs rise while battery costs plummet, we will see more of this.

🩸🩸🩸 I'm going to post this video every day so we never forget what the 34x POS convicted felon who incites political violence, adjudicated rapist & pedophile Trump did 🩸🩸🩸
