Still not over the @LondonMarathon this time last week 🫶 An incredible day. Thank you to everyone who helped me raise almost £3,400 for @StElizabethHosp (will be much more with Gift Aid). I finished in a sub-4hr time in my first ever marathon/running event. Bring on the next one
A rare return to this place to say that I really enjoyed #snluk. Sketch comedy should always be about play. Some things work, some things don’t, but if you hit more than you miss, you win the game - and that’s always been the secret sauce of the original. Well done to everyone
This trend of using made-up first-person quotes (explaining the whole interview in one sentence - "I worked on the farm with my dad and now I've notched 14 goals in League One") as a headline is just completely unreasonable. It's simply not how it works.

It’s gutting when players you like leave - especially ones so tied to a club. But telling a guy from Crosby who has played for Liverpool since the age of 6 that he doesn’t understand the club, the city or what he’s giving up is an extraordinary level of social media hubris.
Just a ridiculously good final. Never thought the Danny Mac v Ore Oduba final would be topped, but this #StrictlyComeDancing final might be the best they’ve ever had #StrictlyFinal
@babbel Hi there, my wife bought a gift voucher for her dad’s 80th and we haven’t been sent it. We messaged your support but haven’t heard back. We’re leaving at lunchtime and was hoping to set it up for him before we left. Are you able to get back to us ASAP?
Few things shock me, but the wild abandonment and frankly carelessness in reporting every detail - live blogs, 911 transcripts, witness interviews, speculation, even photos on one site - is inhumane. It serves only clicks and algorithms. Everyone should take a beat.
There is a clear and important different between "in the public interest" and "what interests the public." When somebody dies, no matter who and how, we should all treat reporting it and talking about it with far more care. At its heart remains a person and a grieving family.

Such a good article. I also write about film and TV and I’m similarly behind on so much. One of the most galling things about #KAOS is that I was purposely watching it slow to savour it, rather than greedily rushing through it. I watched episode 8 the day before it was cancelled
"Streamers are over-feeding and starving their audiences at the same time – there’s way too much to watch, but none of it lasts."
As #KAOS joins The Acolyte and Lockwood on the streaming scrapheap, audiences are losing out, writes @BenSTravis.

With Netflix potentially cancelling ANOTHER show after 1 series, Bill Hader totally hit the nail on the head with this scene in Barry. If it's true about Kaos, then it's so disappointing as streamers aren't giving shows any time to develop an audience.
If Kaos really has been cancelled (kancelled?) - as Variety are reporting - then it emphasises how Netflix's business model has shifted. One of the most brilliant and original TV shows of the year, and yet has been seemingly discarded. Is Netflix no longer a home for bold TV? ☹️
