Norway taxed their gas and built a $3T wealth fund. Australia didn't and got $0. It's time for a 25% gas export tax. Send a message 👇 https://t.co/SrtIVhVyHh

@ClarkyHeraldSun Surely you are not surprised?

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

@Sammy__Edmund So Bailey Humprey's management is telling you one thing, and Jay Clark a different story. Difference is they went on record with Jay.

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

@Sammy__Edmund @happyharrygrant 🤣

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

@traderadio Which makes the trade even more of a disaster for the Suns. MFC should push for more compensation over the proposed pick 7, and Flanders

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

@Doncsalot @tommorris32 @FootyonNine @traderadio @1116sen @kanecornes I'm a Lions Supporter, so don't really care. I was merely making the point that Flanders and pick 7 is not a trade worht doing for Petracca.

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

@CalTwomey @AFLcomau In other words, didn't have the draft captial that MFC are going to want for a genrational player.

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

Come on @kanecornes. You say Merritt should honour his long-term contract, but say Pick 7 is about right for Petracca walking out on his long-term contract (till 2029). He is on over $1m. Get real

@Sammy__Edmund @1116sen Another massive scoop for you, Sam. Quiet news day. Wondering what you are using to treat the burns from Ginnivan's response. 🔥

"It's a very strange scenario to ask for a trade without having a place to go to, it's just really weird."

Leading player agent Liam Pickering gives his expert thoughts on the Christian Petracca situation and whether a trade is likely to get done.

@1116sen @Sammy__Edmund This drivel from @Sammy__Edmund clearly shows he is just a mouthpiece for the player managers. Gary & Tim were right to get him a whack this morning.

[Simon Knapp @simonknapp]

A waste of time. You simply won't get to the heart of a problem if a review is done by "past" players, especially when one is head of the players union. Classic frog in the pot scenario and why rugby will be semi-professional status in less than 2 years https://t.co/AwUrPFPN12

@tommorris32 @1116sen @SENSportsday So basically, Darcy Parish's management (the source) briefed @tommorris32 about the length of the contract because they had bruised egos after Essendon didn't correctly state it. Is that about right?

[Tom Morris @tommorris32]

A final & slightly weird chapter in the Darcy Parish contract saga.

It's six years, which is what his management wanted, until the end of 2029. Essendon was cute with its words in late August. @1116sen @SENSportsday

And that is why the sport of Rugby Union is dying. How sad.
