Another icon has passed.
I was around 14, I reckon, when I got my first stereo with a CD player—pure excitement. The Beach Boys’ CD was my first buy. My mates gave me grief, saying it wasn’t cool, but I didn’t care. I had good vibrations blasting from my speaker
