@MichaelAArouet Rich getting richer? By owning some extra properties, buy-to-rent or REITS they push the house prices up and young people can't compete.
@LillePer40@MichaelAArouet So you pay interest on your mortgage to really wealthy people. Some may also pay interest on their car and phone finance. And being higher earner also pay high tax on their upper income. And the government uses the tax to repay their debt to the real wealty
@humphbecket What was the cost of the batteries and inverters you are using to benefit the lower electricity prices? What's the projected time it pays off for itself?
@humphbecket First of all, electricity prices in the UK are among the highest in the world.
Second, what tariffs are you talking about? Octopus agile? When it's 96p/kWh on a calm winter day or 50p during the peak hours?
@MattP1Gallagher Tsunoda, he deserved a chance. Also driving for the Red bull is enormous pressure. I don't want it to destroy Lawson's career before it begins. Like Gasly's or Albon's.
@au_tom_otive EV battery has ~7000 cells. It's structural, there's management, cooling and safety systems in there. Inside every individual cell there are ions moving charge from one pole to another. Battery is much more complicated than ICE and worse of all you can't see the complexity.
@AndyatAuto I think the issue is evangelists like you pushing the agenda. People telling me what's right and what isn't make me wish running a mile in another direction
