AI to seems like something that can cause a lot of trouble and be tremendously helpful.
It can make your workflows a lot more efficient.
But also make you dumb as rocks, making in skills and critical thinking ability.
Who knows how the world will adapt.
One of the greatest focus tools I have found is using binaural beats.
Specifically 40hz.
Combining it with brown noise with headphones to block out sounds makes me lock in on the task at hand.
My mentor once told me they you should never view giving up things for a goal as a sacrifice.
What you’re doing is in face investing your time, energy and mental capacity into gigger and better things.
Giving up unproductive habits is never a sacrifice!
Music is a double edged sword. It can put you in the correct mindset, and it can put you in a bad mindset.
Worst of all it can remove valuable time for thinking about solving problems.
Never use it to cure boredom or numb reality!
Sleep is important. Does that mean you can’t function without 7-8h of sleep?
No, of course you can!
There are times when you can only get 3-6h of sleep because work takes priority.
If your sleep score determines your productivity, you got serious issues!
How important is psychological wellbeing to overall health?
Quite important!
How important is social interactions to psychological well being?
Quite important!
Does that mean you should accept sub-par relationships for the sake of psychological wellbeing?
Definitely not!
If you’re like me you want everything to happen right now. But things take time.
All your goals and plans can happen through the right actions.
Just remember:
You’re not delaying life, you’re building it step by step.
Just because someone does something non conventional in the gym doesn’t mean they’re doing something wrong.
Don’t be so quick to judge, they might just have knowledge of something you don’t.
Common Gym Mistakes Pt.2
Ego Lifting
The act of lifting heavy weights for the sole purpose of impressing other people in the room.
This is usually done with awful form and gratuitous grunting noises.
Nr.1 killer of dreams.
It’s too late for me.
Says the 35 years YOUNG guy sitting on the couch wanting to get fit.
Or the 22 years YOUNG who settled for a 9-5 instead of his dream.
Fucking ridiculous. It’s never too late to get your shit together.
The only way to lose fat/gain muscle and keep it so is to change your lifestyle.
Get new habits. Kill old habits.
Go to the gym 6 days instead of 3.
Start light and often. Not hard and rarely.
Become the person that goes to the gym by going to the fucking gym!
