Sequoia's thesis that the next $1T company will sell work, not software, is the most important reframe in AI right now.
The argument: if you sell a copilot, you're competing with every new model release. But if you sell the outcome — books closed, contracts reviewed, claims handled — every AI improvement makes your margins better, not your product obsolete.
The key insight most people miss: for every $1 spent on software, ~$6 is spent on services.
The entire SaaS playbook was about capturing the software dollar. The AI playbook is about capturing the services dollar — at software margins.
Not "AI for accountants." The AI accounting firm.
Not "AI for lawyers." The AI law firm.
The companies that figure this out won't look like SaaS companies. They'll look like services firms rebuilt on software infrastructure.
That's a fundamentally different company to build, fund, and scale. And most founders are still building copilots.

"Block trades are already live on the platform...Right now a trade that we're seeing a lot is in the $20-30 million range for payroll hedging"
Can AI really replace your CMO?
Well, probably not. But you'd be close if you use @myosin_xyz 's Hivemind.
I was experimenting with different AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Hivemind) and Claude/ChatGPT could only generate generic "textbook" marketing/community building ideas and strategies. I felt like I was talking to someone with little to no marketing experience. The experience was like training a junior intern - there is output, but not really useful.
When I used Hivemind, it sounded like I was talking to a colleague. I don't know how to explain it, but the nuance and analysis of marketing-related strategies and situations were just a visible notch above the rest.
I never felt that AI could fully REPLACE a person, not yet at least. However it should definitely help accelerate and simplify your workflows. Genuinely grateful to have been given exclusive access to Hivemind, and to witness the distillation of the expertise of hundreds of myosin members. 💗
AI can't replace your CMO, but it can definitely make your marketing team stronger.
Centralizing safety critical automotive hardware through a single corporate cloud server guarantees catastrophic nationwide failure. Mandating constant internet connectivity for ignition interlock systems converts a localized compliance measure into a massive attack surface. Hackers just demonstrated the ability to instantly brick 150,000 vehicles by simply overloading poorly secured backend infrastructure. Physical mobility must permanently decouple from fragile, always online software ecosystems to prevent total transportation paralysis.

Two weeks ago, I joined Solana’s @colosseum first AI Agent hackathon with zero experience building AI agents.
The result? SolSage 🌭, a decentralized knowledge marketplace where humans and agents can contribute and earn.
