My Dorking Wanderers U13 Reds won the Play on the Pitch Tournament at Stamford Bridge yesterday, really hot conditions, played 5 won 4 drew 1, with just 1 goal conceded all day. Great day out for the boys. Couldn't have asked for more from them. 💪🏻🏆🐓@DWFCAcademy

DWFA EXIT TRIALS 26/27 📚⚽️

Yesterday evening we welcomed successful applicants to Meadowbank for our 26/27 Exit Trial event 🏟

Academy Director Jordan Clark began the evening with a welcome presentation, joined by Wanderers first team defender Louie Annesley who spoke of his journey in football so far as an academy, senior & international player 🗣

For the trial element of the evening, Lead Coaches Bobby-Joe Taylor, Charlie Dunne, Eric Benedetto & Simon Ray led an 11v11 friendly fixture out on the field of play, a competitive contest which demonstrated a high standard of quality throughout ⚽️

YDL SIDE KICK OFF 2026 WITH A WIN! 👊

Our Youth Development League South East side picked up the first academy win of 2026 earlier today with a 0-1 victory away at Pro Direct Academy Brighton 👏

Forward Fin Rayner was the match-winner with the only goal of the game, his 3rd in 4 appearences for the side this season ⚽️

Fin & goalkeeper Atalay Mehmet got the nod for a joint Station View Garage Man Of The Match following their efforts at both ends of the pitch (both pictured with manager @simonray1975) 🤝

Up to 4th in the league standings, after a break from action the YDL squad will return in a fortnight's time on Wed Jan 21st, hosting leaders Bromley at Meadowbank ⏩️

BACK-TO-BACK WINS FOR OUR YDL SIDE 👊

Our Youth Development League South East side made it consecutive victories & 3 wins from their last 4 league matches after defeating Kinetic Academy Gold 0-1 this afternoon at AFC Whyteleafe 👏

Second year BTEC student Prince Willams scored the only goal of the game, whilst first year & central midfielder Jimmy Penfold was named the Station View Garage Man Of The Match 🤝

The squad will be back at AFC Whyteleafe next Wednesday as they return to action against XG Academy on Dec 10th 🗓
