@richo_1973 @hex_pulsechain What lies? I know that's a lovely 'buzz phrase' the yes voters use, everyone I've spoken to has a pretty solid reasoning around their no vote and nothing has to do with lies (sure, I haven't spoken with everyone who voted no but this 'they all fell for lies' seems far-fetched)
@richo_1973 @PeterFo53545506 So the non white people who voted no, racists? The aboriginal people who voted no, racists?
How exactly does a no vote fall into the definition of racist, I'm curious
@richo_1973 @hex_pulsechain Right so we are just relying on them to legislate it and then it would work better than all the failed money pit advisory groups.... I guess australia spoke pretty strongly on 'let's not try it first, just put it in the constitution then we will make it work' 🤣
@Dkt51Kim @richo_1973 But..... did you call your employer racist then they said no... if not, that's an opportunity missed (doesn't matter if something racist, when you don't get your way just claim it is, the 2023 way)
@richo_1973 @PeterFo53545506 It's kind of pathetic the whole 'If someone doesn't agree they are racist' .... so just to confirm, a 'no' vote was simply racist?... so aboriginal people who did vote no, they are racist? Or are you claiming 100% of aboriginals voted yes
@richo_1973 @hex_pulsechain Exactly.... so let's enshrine something in the constitution that's about the same as what is already not working.... great plan, winder why 'yes' didn't win
@jjmvoice @danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 Gotta love the yes vote, disagree, make some logical points around what they say and they go with 'block' because their views aren't actually logical so unless they can call you racist they have no further argument 🤣😂🤣
@jjmvoice @danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 Further to that, we want this permanent? ...at what point, 100 years, 200 years from now are we going to say we are all Australian and don't need a special council to advocate for our particular race and need special considerations
@jjmvoice @MattNHartley@danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 In which way?
We are certian this will solve our problems? Based on what, a crystal ball?
I believe you are working on 'I think this will work because....' as I said, no certianty it will help at all.... why wouldnt we trial it first before voting to make it permanent?
@jjmvoice @MattNHartley@danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 So...... the thing we already have doesn't work, let's spend half a billion on a referendum to put that thing that doesnt work into the constitution... got it, wonder why that didn't yet a yee vote
@jjmvoice @danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 Can you outline how the voice would have been superior to the other first nation advisory committees in place which don't work at all other than to make administratiors rich (not just some buzz words on it)
@Flinty_01@danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 Where was the information on how 'the voice' would be better than the existing FN advisory groups to parliament (which clearly don't work) how it would be any different to every other money sucking first nations program which does nothing other than make administratiors rich
@GeoffFleming4 @danasharkie44@joedmoore1979 Personally an actual outline on how it might help solve a problem would be nice, how it would be better than the several other house building programs that are failing and costing billions of dollars (rather that 'we need houses, building houses good' which is what they did here)
@joedmoore1979 You're missing that this wasn't the vote, initially it was to be two questions, recognition and then the voice.... it was clear it would have been yes on recognition and no on the voice.... merging them to try and sneak in a yes on the voice.
