Stroke survivor building freedom in the 4 focused hours that I have each day | Systems/frameworks for working differently | Now writing on Substack - Link below
Life changed in January 2023:
• I had a Stroke
• Spent 7 months in hospital
• Made redundant when I came out
• Had to rebuild
Now I'm sharing how I built freedom in just the 4 focused hours a day that I have.

This is me
According to ChatGPT anyway.
While planning the next 12 months, I created a prompt that “interviewed” me on my past, my career and my plans for the future.
I then asked ChatGPT what it thought I looked like (prompt in comments) based on our chat
Here’s the result
@evielync That means a lot coming from from an experienced Tana user like you! Anyway, thanks again for the follow and all the content you put out there
@evielync - thank you for the follow on Medium a couple of days ago.
I was getting frustrated with the platform but thought I’d let you know that you have motivated me to keep writing longer-form content!
Have a great weekend.
Just had an email from Spotify. Prices are going up to £16.99/month
This feels like the "frog in balling water" analogy from Dante's Peak.
Here's me balking at anything over double figures/month for AI but paying that easily for a service I've been subscribed to for 10+ years
@flarup Great to see everything wrapping up with the App Icon book.
I didn’t receive my digital versions though. What are the next best steps? Thanks a lot!
This time last year I was in Intensive Care.
This quote from @RyanHoliday pushed me to write online:
"You have to do your best while you still have a chance. Life is short. You never know when the game, when your body, will be taken away from you. Don’t waste it!"
Build content around:
- Your experiences
- Your perspectives
- Your processes
- Your results
Your content will be unique. No one can argue with it.
Your life is what makes you stand out.
This bad boy arrived over the weekend.
I haven't been able to put it down so far
As a Linux noob, though, have you got any tips to maximise my time on it?

An adage I came cross over the weekend: festina lente.
To make haste, slowly.
To find the balance between pushing things forward and doing things well.

- Alan Weiss: Million Dollar Consulting
Trust is the platform on which everything else is built.
