Literally like watching footage from Nazi Germany. There is absolutely no remorse here at the impact of that law: Denying people rights, imprisoning them and murdering them en masse for their nationality. Barbarism.
BREAKING: SCOTTISH ACTIVISTS TAKE DIRECT ACTION AGAINST EDINBURGH FIRM LINKED TO GENOCIDE
Only hours into 2026, an autonomous direct action group carried out a break-in at the Bruntons Aero Products factory in Inveresk Industrial Park, Musselburgh, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Activists reportedly dismantled CNC machinery, servers, and computer equipment using hammers, paint, and fire extinguishers found on site.
Graffiti left on the walls and machinery read: “There’s only one way this ends” and “Drop Leonardo.”
The group said Bruntons was targeted due to its role in supplying Leonardo, a major international arms manufacturer. Leonardo produces laser targeting systems used in F-35 jets and supplies military equipment and training aircraft to Israel, as well as weapons systems used in conflicts across the Middle East.
Both Bruntons and Leonardo are members of ADS, the UK arms industry trade association, alongside companies such as BAE Systems, Thales, GKN, and Serco.
The action comes amid growing protest activity in Britain over Gaza. On New Year’s Eve, thousands demonstrated outside prisons in solidarity with Palestine Action prisoners, several of whom have been on hunger strike since November. As of today, Heba Muraisi has reached Day 60, with two others passing 50 days without food.
The Bruntons incident is believed to be the first pro-Palestine direct action in Britain in 2026. A spokesperson for the group described the action as part of a wider campaign targeting what they call the UK’s role in supplying weapons linked to the ongoing war in Gaza.
“Today is Day 1,” the statement said. “Free Palestine.”
I have visited Amy Gardiner-Gibson today, one of the Palestine Action hunger strikers. I am worried about her health & urge yet again for David Lammy to meet her representatives or family. There is a potential tragedy emerging now that has to be addressed. https://t.co/5wYpKtk4hx
You could move to the Scottish Highlands and get a job looking after sheep and cows to start, ride a heavy bicycle for 22 miles across the Lairig Ghru to visit a woman, drinking heavily as you go, only to arrive and find no one home, then ride back home, but you will not do it.

The British state is intending to let 8 of its own citizens die in service of a foreign power. The fact this doesn't cause people to be more alarmed is worrying.
Six prisoners for Palestine are on their 32nd day of hunger strike.
Their health is severely deteriorating, with one described as 'skeletal'.
Each face upto two years on remand before trial and face harsher treatment as they are labelled as 'terrorists'.
This is an emergency
the term neuroscientist is so malleable like none of this is bad advice but lol at the idea of needing to do a ton of brain mris to work out that having a reward might make you motivated to do something???
As a neuroscientist, here are 7 ways to trick your brain into doing difficult things:
1. Shrink the task to just two minutes.
Your brain resists big commitments. So don't make one.
- "Work out" → do one exercise.
- "Clean the house" → pick up three items.
.@Cambridge_Uni has expelled a Palestinian girl student from her accommodation after an Israeli soldier who committed genocide in Gaza complained to them he doesn't feel safe.
I don't have words anymore to describe how low and racist this is.
