Remind pupils they can contact tutors or trusted staff through email. Train tutors to notice when their tutees’ mood, routine, or attitude, changes and ask “How are you finding things at the moment?”

Because of the outstanding leadership shown by @RealGeoffBarton and the work the @ASCL_UK have done throughout this pandemic I decided to join them...in contrast other teaching unions, on a number of issues, have been absent, timid, or lacking imagination.
Our data has revealed that 8/10 secondary age girls will now hide their needs from teachers, a 30% rise since the pandemic. Boys have also seen a 20% rise. A crisis of hidden concerns will develop unless teachers are helped to see behind the curtain #safeguarding#UKedtech#VEIL
