@danpfeiffer Emerson polls for right aligned groups and can no longer be considered an independent pollster. They had Sherrill up 2 in the closing days of the campaign. She won by 14.4.

Three consecutive polls show James Talarico narrowly ahead of Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race.

The latest: Texas Southern U. has Talarico up 47%-45%.

In the past week, a Fox poll had Talarico up 51-48 and a Texas Public Opinion Research survey found Talarico up 45-40.

I know we have to trust the process but in the last year the Nats have traded away our ace, our closer, a top ten NL hitter, a top forty hitter, and a rookie of the year candidate starting pitcher.

What will be visible on this team with these players in return now is a back up catcher, a mid level reliever, and a reliever who has pitched 5 MLB games. Maybe more will come but that is what we have now. I am putting lots of trust in the process today.

@jowole1216 @Nationals But the problem w/the bullpen is something they created by trading away Finnegan, Ferrer, Gore, and Bennett. This is not something they only inherited.

Look I’m a big fan of the new regime but the failure w/pitching has been very costly and Toboni should publicly apologize.
