@KronosAsvestos The Goths didn’t affect Roman day to day life that much and things only stopped improving when the Gothic wars happen. That was the death blow to Rome since Roman life after that would be in decline since then.

@KronosAsvestos Rome didn’t fall until the Gothic wars. Things were getting better since Rome wasn’t getting sacked anymore and frankly was in a terrible place economically for a while before the Goths took over.
