You diberately kept him away from Indian team when you could have give him some backing..... He was having a great run in ODI back in 2022-23 & just before world cup, you dumped him despite both Shreyas & KL not there due to injuries, you even brought Tilak Varma in Asia Cup team out of nowhere & ignored proven ODI batter Sanju Samson coz you were afraid, if he does well you will have to drop Suryakumar Yadav from world cup team.

Sky & Samson both got enough ODIs to prove themselves, Samson did well when Sky was already a terrible ODI batter but Sky got the unlimited backing despite him 3 consecutive ducks vs Australian team & Samson was dumped from ODIs. Same Ajit Agarkar did with Samson in ODIs when he dumped Samson again from ODIs under Gambhir's coaching, Agarkar dropped Samson when he had 100 in his last ODI with 56+ average just to fit in Rishabh Pant in 15 members squad.

I hope, now Sanju Samson gets what he deserves. A place in ODI side as well as captaincy of T2OIs after Sky, he has done enough now & became only 2nd batter for India in history to win POTT.

And just to make it clear, I am saying it all despite being a big Rahul Dravid fan. You can search Dravid in my profile & you will see only good things about him but that doesn't stop me from criticising him where it is due. You can blame Rohit too but Dravid also never supported him enough & for whatever Samson finally achieved, credit for the same goes to Gautam Gambhir, the only coach who properly backed Sanju Samson.
