The inflated importance of immigration is a result of nationalist fear-mongering to deflect from the failures of capitalism. We can hold our ground on humane immigration policy while addressing material needs.

The perception of Dems is that they are compromised elites, Trump and Repubs win because they run as wrecking balls.

Immigr. is not why Brown lost in ‘24, the GOP ran nonstop ads on him “wanting men in girls sports.” Even then, the solution is not to moderate on trans rights. This is a reductive view of the Democratic party’s failures.
