This is beautifully written. Always remember that if you are lost in a forest with no food, insects and small animals are your only bet in terms of food. Most plants will kill you. Humans have spent the last 10,000 years painstakingly genetically modifying plants (via artificial selection) to create a few hundred varieties that won’t kill us (we call these “food”). Eating random fruits in a forest is the quickest way to die.
To paraphrase the “dish of the day” bovine in Douglas Adams’ Restaurant at the End of the Universe when Arthur Dent opts for a salad - “we finally breed an animal that wants to be eaten, and now you want a green salad. I know some plants that might disagree”
“Plant based food” are unnatural genetic freaks that humans made in the last 10k years (with the exception of a few sweet fruits)

For the president of the most powerful country to treat the leader of a small, powerless country, already pushed to the wall, in this manner, in public, is fucking disgraceful.
Zelenskyy is eminently stupid but this conversation is more ugly than tough. Shame
Debugging code is like playing hide and seek with a ghost. You're never sure if you've found all the problems, or if they've just gotten better at hiding.
