Some say that that Nicolas Cage had been born this day back in '64. We all know that this isn't true, he's a demigod and had always been with us! https://t.co/pF71vBsCIU
A very interesting read about what makes software feel slow. I'd recommend to read it, and think about if your application feels slow or fast to your users. Do you aim to *delight* your users with great UX? https://t.co/x3Gi5LOCH8 #slowsoftware#delightusers
@mattie@mattThousand As of now automated testing can still only overwhelmingly confirm that the application works, not where and how it fails. That may change with time and advent of using AI in testing, but I doubt it soon to be as creative as humans.
@maaretp Oh yes. I've recently had a discussion on use of constraints annotations in java "because we already get data sanitized". Aha, yes, until we don't. Problem was that nobody wanted to stop and think about failure mode in this scenario.
@tottinge That's why it's even more important to have quality-focused eyes on the product as it is being built. This does not exclude final inspection though!
Some impressions of yesterday's #QA@Meetup in our #Hamburg office! A great evening with @buggylina sharing her insights into the future of #chatbots, interesting networking and the most stunning sunset ever! #SoftwareTesting
