Today's class is more interactive wit questions and answers, which I really loved. Though I'm disappointed I was not allowed the mic to speak, which I would blame the network.
But still, I learned from the questions and answers. Thank you @itsSh0la @CyrusOlogun

"Quote of the day"🤔

[Shola 👑 @itsSh0la]

One business rule I heard about this year that I’ll be sticking to; don’t employ or work with someone you can’t arrest if they mess your business up.

These days, I’ve noticed that people who take advantage of others aren’t even strangers, but people close to you, people you trust.

The tech idea I got introduced into where I got scammed, the guy who introduced me to it was doing it jointly with his childhood friend who claimed to be a developer. The childhood friend watched him empty his bank account, sell his properties for this same fake project, watched him take loans from over 60 people for this same project, watched him get arrested repeatedly for this same project, and he trusted him all along because he believed that’s a real friend.

I first arrested him, then after the police investigated deeply, we saw that he wasn’t even aware of the scheme, so we had to go after his friend. When they brought the friend, he still never believed that he could get scammed by his so called childhood friend.

I learnt a lesson there, you don’t trust people too much. Most especially in business, you don’t trust anybody; not family, not friends, nobody.

Anybody you can’t look in the face and lock up, don’t do business with them.
