Who said math can’t be fun? 🤔 Today we were subitizing integers — no paper, no pencils, no calculators… just our brains and some dots! 🧠✨ #MathMadeFun #TeacherLife

[Ms. Shields @simplynshields]

Today we dove right into the ILP: Money Exchanges Students built and used bead strings to track transactions and find sums of integers—hands-on math at its finest!

Today in my PLC, we were asked to share something that happened in our classes that made us smile this week. For me, it was when the entire class "got it" the first time it was explained.

The @CousinsMiddle Cheer Team finished camp today as the most improved team. Can't wait to see what the upcoming season has in store.

I am spending my day with the @CousinsMiddle cheer team at Stunt Camp because, just like stunting in cheerleading, academics require teamwork, focus, and trust in your abilities to reach new heights!

Had the chance to meet up with a few of my @CousinsMiddle colleagues and other other colleagues from @NewtonCoSchools at #MathCON2024 today.

Enjoyed spending the last two weeks teaching students about entrepreneurship during our #JumpStart Summer Enrichment Program. We concluded with a PopUp Shop, and the kids showed out creating and selling bath bombs, slime, bracelets, and so much more.

Happy PI day!
