There are two open roles at @coinbase that might have a bigger impact on the future of crypto than any other job in the world. Interested? See below:

In Jan 2024 I joined the company to lead our engineering efforts for Crypto Advocacy. At that point, the industry faced an existential crisis: our elected officials had no idea how this technology worked, why it was an important innovation, and how they should think about governing it.

We had politicians running campaign ads promoting their "anti-crypto army". We had regulators unconstitutionally claiming every crypto asset was a scam. We had crypto startups unable to pay their employees because of dystopian debanking practices.

So where are we today? Did we win?

Things are WAY better. We're months away from getting the sorely needed regulatory clarity in the US needed for crypto to thrive and help transform global finance.

But the job's 👏 not 👏 finished.

The Advocacy team at Coinbase is looking for a rockstar Product Manager and Product Designer to help spearhead this next generation of Advocacy. We've started a movement, now we need to grow and sustain it's impact (here in the United States AND around the world).

Bitcoin is the best performing asset of the last 12 years, and it's still early days.

Every government, especially those looking to create a hedge against inflation, should create a Bitcoin strategic reserve.
