Supporting children to understand how their thoughts influence their feelings and actions is a key part of emotional wellbeing. Teaching coping thoughts helps them step back from negativity and see situations in a more balanced way. 💭

The way we think impacts the way we feel and what we do. Therefore the more negative thoughts we have the worse we can feel. 'Coping thoughts' are one strategy you can use to cope with negative thoughts and see things from a more balanced perspective.

So proud of our P7s at Stane Primary for their incredible work on the Junior Cop initiative! Not only did they achieve a Dynamic Youth Award, but they also took the lead in sharing their learning with pupils across three local schools. Fantastic leadership! #ProudHeadTeacher
