@Mac0496 @_RobbieMoore Depends who owns the farmhouse and who is in the partnership for the business, could be many different possibilities. It’s not as clear cut and no simple answer. If he included the farmhouse he’d need to be charged rent for living there, otherwise back to gift with reservation.

@MartinSLewis are energy companies hiding some truth? My dads energy payments were, £82pm. Raised to £355 and then back to £230. The result after 3 mths, He’s in credit by c£800. Is this just another way for the energy companies to get rich by overly inflating monthly payments?
