@MV33Racing I'll watch the first race but I think they've fucked it. Even gp2 driver thinks the cars are shit. What a waste. How much carbon does a weekend F1 pruduce compared to the transport for the cars, goods, staff etc? It's just stupid. Someone start an alternative formula.
Bad times in good company - “a little back from the frontline” as President Trump called it - with 42 Commando in Helmand late 2006. Al Carns, currently Minister for the Armed Forces, on the roof calling in Apache fire.
I am completely appalled by Donald Trump's ignorant and insulting comments about Nato troops in Afghanistan.
I saw first-hand how British and Nato troops fought, bled, and gave their lives on the front lines.
Trump's comments are extremely damaging.
Congressman Jared Huffman, "If we're real and honest about what's going on, we have a madman in the White House"
"Trump is running the biggest most corrupt criminal grift in criminal history, out of the White House"
"We take an oath to the Constitution, but it seems all of you took an oath to Donald Trump"
"This is shameful, a disgrace"
"To pretend everything is just fine right now?"
"The madman is in Europe driving our friends into the arms of our adversaries"
"Trump is doing immeasurable damage to our credibility o the world stage and you are just fine with it?"
"What the hell is wrong?"
"I'm not going to just sit here and pretend everything is fine"
"This is wrong. This is not normal. And I'm not going to normalise it"
🇬🇧 WATCH: “How dare he say this? A man who dodged the draft. Absolute disgrace.”
UK soldiers who served alongside us and mothers of the fallen react to Trump disparaging their sacrifice to denigrate NATO. (H/T @LBC@mrjamesob)
Putin is pleased.
“What does he know about the frontline? That man has only ever fired someone on The Apprentice.”
President Donald Trump’s comments on the Afghan war are “ignorant and insulting”, says former British Army soldier Simon Weston.
@SimonWestonCBE
‘You could never walk in our shoes, coward.’
Veteran caller John, who lost nine friends in Afghanistan, demands an apology from Donald Trump ‘on behalf of the nation’.
458 British servicemen & women killed in Afghanistan were not “a little off the front line.” They paid the highest price on it. Whatever your politics, this contempt for their sacrifice is a red line and should unite us all. 🇬🇧
How dare the Coward in the White House undermine the bravery and sacrifice of our British troops.
Reform and Nigel Farage should be ashamed to associate themselves with him.
"I almost couldn't get the tweet out fast enough, I was so angry"🗣️
RAF Veteran Liz McConaghy tells BFBS Forces News that Trumps comments were "insulting" to British troops as well as American troops who served in Afghanistan
